The Fire Eel is a spectacular fish with an elongated, eel-like body, known for its vibrant red/orange lines that run through its dark body. Very intelligent and sometimes interactive with its owner, it becomes a real centerpiece in a large aquarium. It prefers a quiet environment with a loose substrate to burrow in and plenty of hiding places.
