Shipping Across Canada
At Larguer les Amar, we ship our fish, plants, and invertebrates across Canada using appropriate packaging methods to ensure their safety during transit.
Each order is carefully prepared according to the season, temperatures, and estimated transit time.
Shipping Areas and Fees
We offer shipping across Canada.
Fixed shipping fees are applied at checkout to cover part of the costs associated with specialized packaging and transportation.
Additional fees may apply to certain remote or difficult-to-access regions. If so, we will contact you before shipment.
Shipping Schedule
Orders are generally shipped at the beginning of the week (Monday and Tuesday) to avoid weekend delays.
All orders are shipped using a 24-hour delivery service when available.
If 24-hour delivery is not available for your region, we will contact you before shipment to confirm the transit time.
Estimated delivery times:
24 to 48 hours (recommended)
72 hours may be possible depending on the region and carrier
Delivery Guarantee
Shipments with an expected transit time exceeding 48 hours at the time of shipment are not guaranteed.
Unexpected delays caused by the carrier may be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
We strongly recommend 24- to 48-hour delivery to provide the best possible conditions for the animals.
Specialized Packaging
All animals are shipped in quality insulated boxes with protective materials suited to seasonal conditions.
Depending on the outdoor temperature, we use:
heat packs
cold packs
additional insulation
to maintain a stable temperature during transit.
Weather Conditions
Animal safety remains our priority.
We reserve the right to delay a shipment if weather conditions are considered unsafe (extreme temperatures, storms, significant carrier delays, etc.).
This decision significantly increases the chances of a safe delivery with the animals arriving in good health.
Shipping Outside Quebec
We regularly ship orders outside Quebec.
Orders are prepared with packaging suited for long-distance shipping to ensure the best possible conditions during transit.
